WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Toolset(included), Hairdryer or Heat Gun ESD Braceletor GlovesEye Goggles Packing Tape Tweezers
BEFORE YOU BEGIN..
1.Discharge your phone's battery to less than 25%.
2.Power off your phone.
3.Wear eye protection and ESD Gloves/Bracelet
1. REMOVE BOTTOM SCREWS
Remove the two screws adjacentto the charge port.Use the pentalobe screwdriver.
IMPORTANT: Screw types and lengths vary. Keep track of ALL screws and their locations.
2. SEPARATE SCREEN
Use a suction cup to lift the screen from the phone's frame.
If the screen is too damaged for the cup to adhere,apply packaging tape to the glass to create a smooth surface.
Separate the adhesive bonding the frame to the screen. Avoid the top of the device where the front sensors are located.
Use the included pick if necessary.

IMPORTANT: If the screen does not separate,heat the bottom edge with a hair dryer or heat gun. Avoid overheating.Too much heat can damage the device or burn you.
3. LIFT THE SCREEN
Open the device by lifting from the left(similar to a book),but do not attempt to fully remove it.Lean the screen against an object or hold it so that it does not pull the flex cables.
IMPORTANT:
If the screen does not separate,heat the bottom edge with a hair dryer or heat gun.
Avoid overheating.Too much heat can damage the device or burn you.
4. REMOVE THE FLEX COVERS
Unscrew the five screws around the flex connector cover plate. Use the Y-point and Phillips Screwdrivers.Remove the cover and set it aside.
5. DISCONNECT THE FLEX CABLES
Gently disconnect the battery flex connector, followed by the display flex cables.Remove the screen.Use theincluded spudger if necessary.
6. REMOVE SPEAKER/SENSOR
Unscrew the 3 screws around the speaker/sensor assembly using the y-point screwdriver.
Gently lift the speaker from the top,but do not fully remove. A delicate ribbon cable is connected at the bottom.
Use a spudger, pick,or card to carefully separate the flex cable. Apply heat if necessary.
Finally, Lift out the sensor and microphone by hand or using tweezers. Be careful during this step.

7. INSTALL SPEAKER/SENSOR
Make sure the clear plastic camera bracket is in place.
Starting with the sensors and microphone, install the speaker/sensor
assembly onto the NEW replacement screen.
Adhere the flex cable and then place the speaker in place.
Replace the three screws that secure the assembly. Use the Y-point screwdriver.
NOTE: If you would like to retain some water resistance, install the replacement frame adhesive now before continuing the next step.
8. CONNECT THE NEW SCREEN
Place the right edge of the new screen onto the right edge of the phone Connect each flex cable(including the battery flex cable).Power on the device to test the display/touch function.
If it does not work correctly, turn the phone off, disconnect and reconnect the cables then power it back on.
Once everything works, power off the device and reinstall the flex covers.

9. CLOSETHE PHONE
Starting from the top, lay the display back into the frame, making sure the edge clips don't get bent.Gently press the top edge of the phone so that it snaps close, then work around the rest of the phone's edges.
Next, secure the screen by screwing in the two screws on eachend of the charge port. Use the pentalobe screwdriver.
Once finished, you're ready to enjoy your newly-repaired phone!
