There are two types of mobile phone screens, one is LCD and the other is OLED screen. These two are the two foundations of screen display technology.

 LCD: Liquid Crystal Display, which is a substance between solid and liquid, called liquid crystal technology, with an operating temperature of -20° to 70°. The characteristic is that it does not emit light but only transmits light, so it needs a backlight board, and the color display is relatively accurate. At present, LCD technology is very mature, and most smartphones use LCD screens.

 OLED: Oranic Light-Emitting Diode, is an all-solid-state substance that operates in the temperature range of -40°-70°. The biggest feature is the self-luminous feature, which can be displayed without a backlight panel, so it has a very high viewing angle. At present, OLED panel technology is mainly controlled by Japanese and Korean companies. Due to the low yield rate of the current OLED panel manufacturing process, it cannot be installed in large quantities for the time being, and the cost is relatively high.

Let's talk about the improved version based on these two materials.

LCD Material:

TFT, most of the current smart phones are using TFT technology. The full name of the upper TFT is TFT-LCD. TFT is a form of LCD, and it is also the most basic display technology on mobile phones.

The development of IPS and TFT technology has encountered its own bottleneck, so there must be corresponding solutions. In the TFT camp, there are three technologies: TN, VA, and IPS. These three technologies have been applied in different fields, among which the display mainly uses TN and VA panels, which is commonly known as "soft screen", while the smart phone uses IPS panel, commonly known as "hard screen".
S-LCD screen is a technology that has emerged in recent years. It has the characteristics of wide viewing angle, high brightness and high contrast.

OLED material:

AMOLED, the Chinese name is active matrix organic light-emitting diode panel, the biggest feature of AMOLED screen is that it has self-luminous characteristics, each pixel can emit light by itself, and because the backlight plate is cancelled, AMOLED also has a wide viewing angle and high contrast ratio .

Super AMOLED, an improved version of AMOLED, mainly removes the glass substrate and directly integrates the Touch Panel into it, further reducing the thickness and increasing the transparency, making it perform better in sunlight.

ASV, is a patent of Japanese manufacturers, the full name is Advanced Super-V, which is a technology rather than a panel. ASV technology mainly changes the shape of the internal crystal through a patented process, and changes the light refraction through different graphics, artificially improving the display accuracy and pixel density.
